Children's Services

SW RIEP hosts the SW Children’s Services Collaborative Commissioning Support Unit (CCSU) on behalf of the Directors of Children’s Services and finances a number of specific projects.

The South West Children's Services Collaborative Commissioning Unit

Children’s Services Commissioning is carried out by local authorities and PCT's. The Collaborative Commissioning Support Unit assists them to share experience, learning and good practice, develops and runs infrastructure for common use, and promotes and facilitates sub-regional projects.

The South West Children's Services Commissioning Forum

This Forum is open to Commissioning Managers in Local Authorities, to Children’s Leads in PCTs, to representatives of Providers of Services to the SW (via the Providers Forum) and to other interested parties.

The South West Children's Services Provider Forum

This Forum is open to all current and potential providers to Children's Services in the South West and to commissioners.
